The origins of the New York brand date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company. They use Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen in their production.
For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will appeal to everyone who cares about eco-friendly raw material processing methods.
Each product is made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
