According to the registration certificate, on November 20, 1916, in Florence, the “most renowned Italian manufacturer of fountain pens” was established. The company was named TIBALDI & Co.

Each of the TIBALDI for Bentley pens is a limited-edition masterpiece of writing, bearing the Sheffield Assay Office Bentley quality mark.
