We are pleased to present to you an incredible collection of paintings by Wacław Jagielski, one of the most prominent artists of recent years in Poland, a man who references Polish colorism as well as the Polish landscape school!

Member of the Association of Polish Fine Artists. His paintings are part of many private collections both in Poland and abroad. He practices drawing, pastel and oil painting, enriched by his technological explorations and discoveries. He has published a poetry collection – the album “Moje 40 i 4” and another is in preparation.
I come from Lower Silesia, where the mountains have always created their mysterious, resin-infused melodies of forests, and birds and whistling wind lived in the rock crevices. Since 1979, I have lived and created in Nowy Sącz. Here, I had my first solo exhibition during high school, and here I worked as an art teacher. Earlier, I became a certified art conservator, fulfilling one of my greatest life ambitions at the time. For twenty years, I ran my own Heritage Conservation Studio.
Wacław Jagielski - born August 20, 1965, in Lubań Śląski. Art conservator and painter. For several years, he taught art to youth at high schools and primary schools. He is a founding member of the Polish Pastelists Association. Author of dozens of solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
Notable exhibitions include: National Pastel Biennale – Nowy Sącz 1998 (honorary jury distinction), Lyon – France, Contemporary Art Fairs – Paris – France, Athens – Greece, Lviv – Ukraine, Vienna – Austria, International Pastel Biennale 2002 – 3rd prize, regional exhibitions – Art Salon 2004 – ZPAP “Golden Frame” Award, Art Salon 2009 – Mayor of Nowy Sącz Award. Participant and organizer of plein airs and post-plein air exhibitions of the Polish Pastelists Association and other international events.
Currently, I have dedicated myself entirely to painting. I especially love color and light, which are the greatest carriers of my philosophy. However, my greatest happiness comes from my wonderful family, thanks to which God has significantly fewer troubles with me. I am a member of the Polish Fine Artists Association and the Polish Pastelists Association. To date, I have organized dozens of solo exhibitions and participated in group shows in Poland and abroad. I take pride in knowing that my paintings can be found in the farthest corners of the world in museums and private collections.
