MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company’s leadership and guided its development and expansion into international markets.
During this period, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the brand now carries fifty years of experience, combining artisanal craftsmanship and management concepts, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
