Model Karl creates an optical illusion that intrigues. This is the type of rug that you can gaze at for hours, following the network of lines and geometric figures with your eyes. Made entirely from wild silk with a weaving density of 120 knots.
The Fort Street Studio brand was founded by a pair of individualists with a substantial artistic background – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. They transferred their love of art into interior design. Their works, before they jointly engaged in creating the new brand, were exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to the creativity and superb skills of these two, a unique company was born – based on original, uncommon patterns and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the street where they lived – has been setting new trends in interior design for over two decades. The company has showcased its products at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan. In 2010, it also began collaborating with the French department store Hermès.
