Miya is a stylish, classic design with quality craftsmanship guaranteed by Montegrappa. The mysterious name contains one word in two languages. It is a combination of the English version of the word “my” – MY and the Italian equivalent – MIA. MY+MIA =MIYA. The name of the collection suggests that its owner possesses a “own,” very “personal” writing jewel. MIYA was created in three cellulose colors: red, yellow, and turquoise. Celluloid is a material that requires a long aging process, followed by many treatments that give it an exclusive character. All these processes make celluloid very delicate and pleasant to the touch, as well as giving it a durable, slightly shimmering color.
We would like to introduce to you a pencil — an innovative slightly convex shape at the junction of the cap and the body. The body and cap are made of celluloid, while the details are crafted from sterling silver. The cap is decorated with a Greek pattern characteristic of Montegrappa, representing perfect symmetry. The clip features a distinctive Montegrappa ball, which perfectly complements the shape of the collection. The pencil has an 18-karat gold nib, a new ebonite feed, and a double ink filling system: converter or ink cartridges.
