Description
Miyabi Nakiri Knife from the 5000FCD series makes even simple kitchen tasks, such as peeling and slicing fruits and vegetables, an optical experience. The 17 cm blade, with a core made from hard FC61 steel, is coated with 48 layers of stainless steel. This gives the blade a unique Damascus pattern. During the manufacturing process, the FRIODUR® blade has also been enhanced through a special ice-hardening process. As a result, it is exceptionally resistant to corrosion and durable. At the same time, the blade is remarkably thin — making it perfect for slicing thin cucumber or tomato slices. This Japanese vegetable knife combines incredible sharpness with aesthetic design and Eastern elegance. A knife that will particularly impress collectors, as the Damascus pattern on the blade is unique — no two knives are the same. **FEATURES** - Revolutionary FC61 steel core characterized by fine carbide distribution, protected by 48 layers of durable steel - Precise carbide distribution creates a razor-sharp and durable blade with a Rockwell hardness of 61 - FRIODUR® blade double-hardened with ice for exceptional durability - Hand-sharpened using the historic Honbazuke method to an extremely sharp angle of 9.5 - 12 degrees - Authentic, thin Japanese blade profile - Handle made from black Pakka wood, stylishly embossed with a mosaic pin - Ergonomic Japanese D-shaped handle - Handcrafted in Seki, Japan **DIMENSIONS** Available in a 17 cm size.
