Pewter (cynowód) is an alloy of three metals: tin (90-98%), antimony (0.5-8%), and copper (0.25-2.5%). This material is extremely durable and hard, yet malleable. Like any other metal object, as well as household silverware, these items require care to maintain their shiny appearance and keep them in excellent condition for many years.

The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetically pleasing but primarily functional, made in an elegant, simple style—with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element of the final form is carefully considered. 

Art Nouveau is the complete opposite of Thistle—decorative objects that combine functionality with artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Deco, and asymmetry.
