iMuranesi products are unique due to the combination of many equally important elements. These include exquisite craftsmanship, the use of innovative creation techniques, sophisticated and bold design, and a strong connection between top designers and glassmakers.
iMuranesi is currently a popular international brand that combines contemporary creativity with the traditional values of Murano glass.

Behind this designer project is, however, centuries of experience, dating back to when the authorities of the Republic of Venice decided to concentrate all glassmakers in one place. Today, its name is known worldwide, and the glass originating from there continues to enchant crowds.

The Barbin family is one of the most respected medieval families. These glassmakers left their mark on the Venetian island of Murano as early as the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, by order of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbin family was inscribed in the Golden Book of Murano Society’s Notable Figures, known as the register of the most distinguished glassmakers.
Additionally, the family was granted a coat of arms – featuring two bearded wise men looking at each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be seen today in the Glass Museum on the island of Murano.
