Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems to be completely detached from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners firmly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor forces, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the products made. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of artisans but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
