MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually developed interior accessory lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and handcrafted craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
