This ceramic piece was designed in 2014 by Tullio Mazzotti, a fourth-generation representative of the Mazzotti ceramics family.
The artistic heritage of the Mazzotti family is linked to futuristic production in the 1930s, when the factory collaborated with representatives of the Futurist movement, and later in the 1950s with artists such as Lucio Fontana, Asger Jorn, Aligi Sassu, and Enrico Baj, when Albisola was the world capital of ceramics, and the Mazzotti factory its palace.
Tullio Mazzotti, the current owner of this magnificent factory, is a craftsman, artist, painter, designer, and the “initiator of artistic spirits” in Albisola.
These valuable ceramic art pieces are created based on the artist’s original designs, with the same passion, materials, and handcrafted processes that have always been used at the Mazzotti factory.
The Mazzotti ceramics from Albisola are part of major museums in Italy and around the world.
To this day, Giuseppe Mazzotti’s factory remains a cultural reference point in Italy for the production of limited-edition designer ceramics and handcrafted ceramics made specifically for each client.
