The origins of the New York-based W&W brand date back to 2001. At that time, Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They are made using raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. The dyes are plant-based, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly talented weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive sheen.
