MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the intuition of founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship skills.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that would enable the brand to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
