Sentimental significance for Italian artisans is working in harmony, through which they rediscover the concept of quality, improving their products.
Zanetto is a company founded in 1963 by Bernardo Zanetto, who from a young age was interested in precious metalworking.
He dedicated a lot of free time to observing the work of Italian artists in workshops located in the heart of Padua.
When he turned 14, he got his dream job in one of these workshops - immediately recognizing the exceptional potential dormant in the youth. Determined, disciplined, and with astonishing talent, he decided to start his own business over time. Soon after, he achieved his first accolade - a gold medal at the International Craft Fair in Florence. Collaborating with other craft enthusiasts, his workshop developed rapidly and progressively, gaining recognition worldwide!
The Zanetto fruit knife was finished with a special PVD technique and decorated with Aghi texture.
A piece finished with this technique has incredible resistance to wear and scratches, surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and UV rays. One of its main advantages is the low temperature process, which prevents thermal deformation (typical PVD layer lasts about 10 years). This process is environmentally friendly, conducted in a vacuum, and products plated with this technique can be given any gold color with an evenly applied layer.
