Italo Rota and Alessandro Pedretti conduct their design activities in the fields of urban planning, architecture, interiors, and design, always exploring new perceptual languages and the concept of “accumulation” of meanings.
Their work goes beyond themes, scale, and typology, maintaining a relationship with the user that exceeds mere visual perception and establishing a connection through an intense “sensuality of design” achieved through specialization gained from years of artistic installations, furnishings, events, scenography, temporary structures, and primarily ambient projects in public spaces and architecture of significant historical/artistic value in Italy and abroad.
Their works transcend the boundary between architecture and art, creating impressions of multidimensionality, movement, mutable chromatics, and spatial fusion that appear incredibly lively and full of vitality.
